Reviving Kai Tak 2 (27 AUG 16, 1200z-1600z)

Hong Kong VACC had lots of fun last year hosting an event at the historical Kai Tak Airport (VHHX) for our members, so we would like to present it to you again this summer.

Do you remember the days when flying into Hong Kong means a very low approach over the residential buildings in Kowloon City, a sharp turn in front of the Checker Board before touching down, and the spectacular view of the Victoria Harbour? Hong Kong VACC wants to bring you back those memories. On 27th August (Sat.), from 1200z-1600z, we will open up all positions at Kai Tai Int’l (VHHX) to provide full ATC service. Join us for fun night flying the world-famous IGS 13 approach.
